Hi, I’m Barbi Lee, a salon owner, extension specialist, and Luna Method Educator with over 25 years behind the chair and a deep passion for building healthy, sustainable careers in the beauty industry.
From the very beginning of my career, I’ve believed that beautiful hair should never come at the expense of hair or scalp health. That belief led me to specialize in seamless, comfortable, biomechanically sound extension installs and eventually into education rooted in principles, not trends.
I’m known for teaching stylists how to slow down, pay attention to the details, and truly understand the why behind their work. My approach blends precision technique, biomechanics, healthy-hair science, and real-world business strategy because great installs mean nothing if they aren’t sustainable for both the client and the stylist.
As a small-town salon owner with a big vision, I’ve built a space where high-end color, luxury extensions, creativity, and collaboration thrive. I’ve also built and lead a team of like-minded artists who value integrity, growth, and excellence, proof that you don’t have to be in a major city to do exceptional work.
My education is intentionally designed to feel more like mentorship than a class. I keep groups small so every stylist receives hands-on coaching, honest feedback, and continued support long after class ends. I don’t believe in surface-level certifications, I believe in mastery, confidence, and transformation.
At the heart of everything I do is a desire to elevate the industry by empowering the artists within it. Education should feel inspiring, grounded, and comprehensive, rooted in integrity, driven by excellence, and infused with connection.
Whether I’m teaching extensions, mentoring stylists, leading my salon team, or continuing my own journey with strength and faith, I show up with intention, authenticity, and a deep love for the craft.
My small class workshops are designed to give you the best of 1 on 1 attention with the collaborative support of a group learning experience. Join a class or create one with your friends or teammates.
